Process Mining for Electronic Dispatch of Orders
PROMaaS Use Case
In the course of digitization, the customer wants to maximize the number of electronic orders to his suppliers. This enables faster process completion and reduces labor costs, while employees can focus on more productive tasks.
The challenge is to collect complete and objective statistics and key figures on order notifications. This leads to the lack of necessary transparency to prioritize optimization measures and to release funds for the implementation of digitization solutions.
Our Solution for this client
The respective type of order message is usually documented in the ERP systems. Process mining made it possible to visualize this information and put it in a process-related context.
This made it possible to display and derive specific key figures for the various order messages to suppliers and their share in the company. The process costs could thus be analyzed based on data and viewed over time. Recommendations for action were derived from the results and management was presented.
